How to Delete Gmail account
Before we step ahead, you must know that deleting a Gmail account is permanent. After going through the process, all of your emails and account settings will be erased. You will no longer be able to use your Gmail address to send or receive an email, plus the address will not be made available for anyone else to use in the future.
Sign in to your Gmail account on Google.com. Click the grid icon in the upper right-hand corner and select “Account.”

Under the “Account Preference” section click “Delete your account or services.” Or, on the new screen, find the section that says “Delete a Google service”, and select “Delete a service.”
Here you’ll be prompted to sign in to your Google account for security purposes. Sign in to the Google account you have your Gmail account under to proceed.
Find the Gmail account you want to delete, and select “Delete”.
Enter an email address different from the address associated with the Gmail account you are closing under entering an email address in the how you’ll sign in to Google dialog box.
Note: Make sure you enter an email address to which you have access. You will need the email address to complete deleting your Gmail account.
Click Send Verification mail. Open the email inbox from Gmail (firstname.lastname@example.org) .You will find the link in the mail, clicking on this link will confirm “deleting your Gmail account.”
It may ask you to log in to your Gmail account you are deleting. Check on confirmation and click “Delete Gmail.”
Note: Make sure before deleting your Gmail account because once it’s done, you cannot undo this process.
How to delete email using Gmail
